Chiropractic Adjustments

  • Cox flexion distraction technique (a decompression technique for lower back pain, disc problems, pinched nerves, osteoarthritis and scoliosis)
  • Thompson technique (drop table technique, more comfortable for both patient and doctor!)
  • Activator technique (gentle instrument assisted adjusting, used only on infants and those with brittle bones or osteoporosis)

  • cold laser therapy~Dr. Buskohl utilizes the Microlight 830 Cold Laser.  This particular laser has been FDA cleared for treatment.  GM actually used this laser in a study for employees with carpal tunnel.  The employees who had the laser treatment as part of their regimen were back to work quicker, with less pain, and even had improved nerve conduction tests!  This treatment is safe, painless, can be done on anyone (even pregnancy!) and can be used on any area for pain.

  • Custom made orthotics with our state of the art digital footscanner by footlevelers. Dr. Buskohl is able to take a digital impression of your feet while you are standing. The scan is sent digitally to Footlevelers for creation of your custom made shoe inserts. There is also a great selection of custom shoes. Especially popular right now are the sandalthotics. These are sandals with a built in custom orthotic. Just in time for summer! Auriculotherapy (electro-acupuncture on the ear for smoking cessation).  Auriculotherapy is a therapeutic intervention in which electrical stimulation of specific points on the ear is utilized to treat various health conditions in other parts of the body.
